Vicki Woods passed away

August 20th 2019:

Past female Boxer Vicki Woods (Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA, born on February 21, 1963) passed away this week.

She had 23 fights and fought many of the top female boxers from her career that spanned from 1997 – 2001 with a 9-11-3 (6KO) record.

In December of 2001 she was ranked as high as #5 in the world in the super lightweight division of WIBF.

This fight was full of actions. The Bosnian opponent Pasa Malagic, who had to go down in round seven and eight, proved to be the expected strong opponent and showed standing qualities. She demanded everything from the world champion.

After 10 rounds Nicole Wesner defeated her opponent unanimously on points.

WIBF and GBU WORLD TITLE Super lightweight 63,50 kg / 140 lbs (VACANT)

Prisca was perfectly prepared for this challenge and won the vacant WIBF and GBU female super lightweight world title on scores of 98-92 twice and 97-93 over Olena Medvedenko.

Priska was clearly the better boxer and could win 8 out of 10 rounds.
